本片为「百万导演」罗维作品，由「金燕子」郑佩佩及「大醉侠」岳华合演。故事描述，明建文四年，燕王勾通宦官纂位，发「靖难兵」破南京，传说建文帝葬身火海，太子和玉玺下落不明；永乐帝派人侦查，得悉太子藏匿在武林义士上官浩（罗维）的黑龙会中，于是派武林败类率官兵进剿围捕；上官浩战死，临终时将太子与玉玺交女儿秀仪（郑佩佩）与徒弟金振雄（吴风）；秀仪等在少侠赵飞云（岳华）义助护送下逃亡……。Kate Adie examines the impact of women's work on the Home Front during the First World War. Innovations included the first women's police force, women's football and female surgeons operating on men.
