医生米尔斯·本耐尔（Kevin McCarthy 饰）正出差参加一个医学会议，期间他接到护士（Jean Willes 饰）的电话，称其所在的小镇病患激增，本耐尔医生只得匆匆赶回。但是小镇的情况却让他心生疑虑，当本耐尔回来时发现，大多数的门诊预约已经取消，而前来看病的患者则令其备感陌生。虽然病人们能一一说出小镇上的生活细节，然本耐尔却总认为他们并非原来的居民。 不久本耐尔的朋友杰克（King Donovan 饰）和泰迪（Carolyn Jones 饰）组织了一个派对，聚会上，本耐尔终于发现了他百思不得其解的事实真相……。阿清、阿荣等男孩生于风柜长于风柜，他们在高中毕业后等待征兵的日子里百无聊赖，每日通过赌博、打架、看白戏等形式来挥霍过量的精力。因为一次较严重的打架事件，也因对周遭环境的厌倦，他们怀揣几颗忐忑的心，离开风柜来到高雄。起始，自然只能如迷途羔羊般，在大都市的五光十色中乱撞。 　　在阿荣姐姐的帮助下，他们有了暂时的栖身处。而安稳下之后，阿清和阿荣因渐形成不同的世界观产生分歧。一封家书勾起阿清有关父亲的复杂回忆，加上眼见爱慕对象小杏与男友情感变故，阿清沉默了下来。。When he learns his days are numbered old count Hervé de Kéraudren decides to hide in a secret alcove and to die there, just to annoy his heirs. As a result of his body not being found the latter will have to wait for five years until they can inherit the count's money. Very upsetting indeed, all the more as they are required to keep up the Kéraudren estate in the meantime. To collect money, nephews and nieces organize a Son et Lumière show at the manor while busily looking for the missing corpse. But, unexpectedly, they get killed in turns. Murders or accidents? Jean-Marie, his fiancée Micheline and his cousin Edwige investigate and finally succeed in exposing the culprit. And, the count's body being found by chance, all goes back to normal.。
