刚完成PTU机动防暴队训练的柠檬仔及Sammy被选为第一代阳光警察。他们的魅力吸引了一群年青人投考警察，大批fans跟踪他们，而两人更被发掘拍广告和电影。这些虚荣带给他们不少满足感，然而他们开始怀疑自己。一天，他们当值时遇到一班贵族学校的顽劣学生被绑匪胁持并勒索其亲人，二人唯有靠自己的能力去拯救……。Speedy" loses his job as a soda-jerk, then spends the day with his girl at Coney Island. He then becomes a cab driver and delivers Babe Ruth to Yankee Stadium, where he stays to see the game. When the railroad tries to run the last horse-drawn trolley (operated by his girl's grandfather) out of business, "Speedy" organizes the neighborhood oldtimers to thwart their scheme.。
