This season included a cross-over with CSI: Crime Scene Investigation involving Jack and Gil Grissom...。顾菲（王茜华饰）是一家酒店的领班，儿子尚且年幼，婆婆重病产生，丈夫又遭到裁员，即便生活非常的艰难，但是顾菲依然十分乐观，并且深深的爱着自己的家庭。然而，上天并没有眷顾顾菲的坚强，在一场车祸中，丈夫不幸去世了。 刚开始，顾菲发誓一定要将这场车祸的罪魁祸首秦志友（马跃饰）送进监狱，但最终，迫于生活的压力，顾菲还是接受了庭外和解，并且得到了三十万元的赔偿金。顾菲所在的酒店被兼并了，她丢掉了工作，与此同时，她亦发现自己身患绝症，直到此时，顾菲才知道，原来丈夫早就得知自己的病情了，而那笔赔偿金，就是丈夫用自己的生命为她换来的救命钱。。
