《立夏奇遇记》讲述了一名现代不得志、身心迷茫的青年叶空，恰好在立夏之时迎来30岁生日，通过两次梦境穿越到1919年“五四运动”前后不断经历精神洗礼，而后发生内心改变决心三十而立，主动拥抱生活与梦想的故事。节目恰好对应立夏，万物致此皆长大的节气特征。。1929年，年少时的佐藤先生应邀父亲之命，来到中国南京向师傅求学围棋精髓，结识了师傅之女吴花子，两人以棋热恋百年好合，不料几年后中日战争爆发，1937年12月佐藤随军大举进攻中国首都，见证南京城内史无前例的疯狂屠杀，在当年师傅的四合院中，佐藤正准备解开一盘围棋的残局，手下抓来了一个女人。The series follows smart, capable and by the book Grace Narayan (Anjli Mohindra), who was flying high as an inner-city police sergeant before being forced into a 'punishment posting' on the small, antiquated island of St. Jory.
